This year’s Crane Festival will be held on November 15 and 16 in Novi Bečej and in SNR Slano Kopovo. As before, in addition to the welcoming of cranes, the focus will be on the creative and educational program for the youngest. Since this year the Crane Festival is being held under the Hungary-Serbia Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program, the festival will be attended by children from the partner town Sandorfalva from Hungary.
An organized departure for all interested is on Friday, November 15 at 1 pm from the parking lot at the Workers University. After a slow stroll and learning about the natural values of the Special Nature Reserve “Slano Kopovo”, a variety of nature activities and competitions will be organized for children at the Visitor Center, followed by a welcoming and watching of cranes. The organized return for Novi Bečej is at 4 pm and the program for children will continue in the Culture Center Novi Bečej, where creative workshops will be held, thus ending the program on the first day of the Crane Festival. Also, for all interested, an exhibition of works, that is, photos from the recently held Photo safari in Novi Bečej, entitled “Novi Becej in objective- Photo safari 2019” will be opened in the lobby of the Culture Center from 6 pm.
The second day of the Crane Festival will be marked by a costume and mask show at the town park in the center of Novi Bečej, beginning at 9:30.
